Just thought it was about time I said hi, I've been a fan of mk2's for about 20 years so about three weeks ago I took the plunge and bought 91 J more door gti 8v. The plan was to tidy it up and use it as a weekend car and then give it to my son when he's old enough to drive but since he's only nine months old it's gonna be a struggle to keep it going another 18 odd years!, but I enjoy driving it so much I've used it everyday.
