if u look around u can pick them up for about 120 pound for the 312mm setup !

Leave the standard set up on there bud, just replace with a decent brand of disks and pads.. :grin: :grin:

I think depending on how they look I maygo with the set for 205 as that doesnt seem too bad for the whole lot.

Ye discs and pads as 'new to vw' said get some decent pads and discs so wanted to know what makes are considered good?

I've just fitted some Zimmerman ones from GSF, I compared them to their budget brand instore and the difference obvious and was well worth the few extra pounds.

Depends on budget but Mintex and Ferrodo are very good, otherwise just get some Pagid ones from GSF.

I would go for MINTEX all day long bud, I had them on my 2.8 30V 4Motion passat which had 200hp.The standard disks on them were 288mm if i remember right...NEVER had any probs with them at all, thats whats going on my golf anyway :grin: :grin:
