I went to university in Sheffield, I am in fact a resident of the Isle of Man. There are 2 beer tents on the promanade during TT week, the Bushy's one where Inspector Mark Britton was filmed and the "other" refereing to the other beer brewed on the IoM Okells.

There was a freestyle motorcross show on with backflips and whatnot and the commentator guy referred to one of the tricks as leprosy sick.

That is all

In the kindest possible way. Are you a retard?

This guy also goes under BarrieCars and Barries Cars at Dunsville Doncaster, and after a brief chat with him I found out his name was Andy.

So Could AB Autos Ltd actually stand for And and Barrie?

Checking out a car later tonight.

Will keep you posted...

Also worth noting that if you check out the telephone numbers it comes up with different locations in around Doncaster - eg Dunsville, hatfield and also south Parade... the Barrie Cars address looks more legit, so may appear that one of the directors deals from home out side normal garage hours...

Also worth pointing out that Doncaster Trading Standards also approved them under their Barrie Cars name previously...

A South Yorkshire scheme which recognises ‘good garages’ will applaud new members next week.

Doncaster Council’s Trading Standards Service will present new members of the South Yorkshire Trading Standards Service Motor Trade Partnership Scheme with membership certificates on Tuesday April 27.

The presentation, which will be held at the Mansion House, Doncaster at 10.00am, will recognise four new members of the Scheme, which was launched in September 2003.

The new members are:-

Hatfield Jeep - Wheatleyhall Road, Doncaster.
CEJ 3000 - Church Lane, Branton.
BMW - Wheatleyhall Road, Doncaster.
Barrie Cars - High Street, Dunsville.

The initiative has been developed by a partnership between all four South Yorkshire local authorities - Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield. The aim is to help consumers buying new and used vehicles from legitimate businesses, ensuring consumer satisfaction and reduce the number of complaints received by the Trading Standards service.

Robert Grice, Chief Trading Standards Officer, said: "The partnership creates a good working relationship with the motor trade and ensures that garages who adopt a responsible attitude to trading are recognised.

"Membership is conditional and businesses have their procedures and practices fully audited by Trading Standards on a regular basis. It provides additional consumer safeguards and is an excellent way for businesses to show that they are committed to fairness and honesty."

There are more than 74 members to date, each displaying the partnership logo.

Hope this helps, can't believe Doncaster Trading Standards did not even know they were registered with different addresses, business and contact telephone numbers.....

Will keep you posted :)
