Need advice prep/painting engine bay

Right then I've removed everything in my bay except the rubber gromits so far and I need advice on what to use for rubbing it down and undercoat and paint any how to guides out there ??
Just plain dubbin

what needs doing is all down to how the bay is before starting

There's no down pipe or nothing in it anymore and I gave it a good brush out

a good clean and degrease is the best place to start

Use a hot air gun to heat all the anti corrosion wax, and wipe away with old rags, if you're just looking at a tidy up, then use Red Scothcbrite on the best areas, and treat any rust appropriately (Use the search function, to find how to deal with rust) you only need to spot prime rusted and repaired areas.. the more work you put in, the better the end result

Cheers for that I just want it clean really and fresh and the next vr engine gonna extend the loom and that's pretty much it got a new header tank and washer bottle and just need sum samcos
