i sadly sold my 2007 mk5 gti dsg last week and was thinking about getting something a bit sensible....until the mother got an r32 as a run around!!!!

was looking at getting another bmw...possibly 330d but now that i gotta hear the rumble of the r32 everyday i want one :kiss:

going on holiday tuesday so i need to find a car as soon as im back :smug:

i got 2002 bmw 325 as a toy but im fed up being overtaken

any advice guys??????????? :cool:

Just do it, they rock. So much grip and the torque in any gear is an awesome feeling.

I even love it when it rains as you still have massive grip.

Oh yeah, and the noise  :cool:

I get 30mpg on my commute. 52 mile round trip, I even got 33 this morning as the traffic was flowing nicely. Thats a mix of M25 for 8 miles, and local town A roads.

When you test drive, make sure you do a fast start from standstill, if the traction control light comes on then the haldex isn't working properly, you should feel the power shift and hurtle you towards the horizon. That's the only specific thing in addition to the usual checks.

i dont really want to have one with expensive tax  :angry: 56reg onwards isnt it???

Anything registered 18 Nov 2005 – 22 Mar 2006 will be the lower tax rate. Pretty slim timeframe but they are about.
