Driveshaft bolt type??
« on: 20 June 2011, 18:47 »
Need to remove my driveshaft to remove the old engine but dont have the bit for bolts.

Its a kinda torx bit but has more splines. Does anyone know what its called and the best place to get one.
Also is it the same thing but in male form for the plate??

Cheers all.

Yeah on searches most suggest M8. Will just get a set off fleabay for a tenner.
I'd better put a shed load of penetrating oil on though as their probably not the best quality for a tenner
Probably only ever use them a couple of times though so shouldnt matter too much.

Are the ones on the clutch plate the same sort but in male form??
