Bronze, when I get round to it I'm going for crystals all round but I've got other stuff I want to do first, personally I like the inner and outer lights and that's how I'm keeping mine. Why not take a pic of the front of your car and put a post in the virtual mod section and ask topher to do a photoshop for you of what they will look like with double or single lights.  :undecided:
......now officially dubless.

there is a pic of the front of my car somewhere  :undecided: I'll have to dig it get and see what topher can do. Cheers Gibby.

Velly, have you got any front pics of my car? I know that Robin does.

I need to save for my 16v conversion though, but I've wanted these lights for ages  :undecided:

Have a look in the Golf+ mag at the adverts, I think I priced up inner and outer crystal spots for £55 & £59 a pair respectively, but I can't remember where from. Oh yeah, another thing Bronze, when I get round to buying them I'm going to buy them at a show so I can what the quality is like and compare them between suppliers, otherwise you take a chance when you buy over the phone, been stung like that a couple of times.

I'm deffo going to get mine photoshopeed first to see what it will look like.

Cheers for the info Gibby. I have spoke to Gwent VW about them already. They are based in Newport and I know them quite well, so I'm hoping to get some discount

Gibby's right, there generally something you buy after most of things you want done are complete.

Mine were fitted with the aftermarket grille (which im still not sure im keeping!)

Id buy from the shows in the summer- normally save a few quid.

i think keep the doubles  - if u wait until a show gwent vw always have offers on the lights at the shows. why doubles? i think with ur car u got more of a retro look with the colour and the wood steering wheel and gearnob etc so it just wouldn't be right with the 'modern' single look, although i do think singles suit some cabbies - it just depends on overall look u going for

I like doubles on cabbies. Adds to the character.
