A 1994 Peugeot 106....diesel. I put a lot of work into it and was proud of it (and it's slowness). But it slowly fell apart when I went to uni, so sold it for £450. Not bad when I bought it for £600 2 years before.

1988 austin metro, 1.0 city

could get in and start it with a house key, had a hole in the floor, the stereo used to fall out of the dash, fuel gauge and trip meter didnt work so had to guess how many miles i had left (petrol was less than 40p a litre so no real worry, except the tank had a hole halfway up so couldnt fill it too much) had no reverse gear, rear view mirror used to slowly droop till you were looking at the handbrake levers reflection, handbrake only worked on one side.

and i still sold it for more than what i bought it, lol
