I'd do random drives daily if it wasn't for the cost of fuel

When me and my mate both lived in Clacton we decided we'd go to Ipswich. Missed the turning so just carried on and ended up parking in Soho. It was an interesting evening...

cost of fuel really rules out any 'fun, un neccesarry driving' got a few good B roads though when i go to my drummer shouse to record so they are always good fun

In the days of old...
Fall out of a nightclub at 2ish, get picked up by a mate that had a V12 Jag, from Leicester down to the Smoke in around an hour and 20mins, straight off the M1 on to the Edgeware Rd, and park up at Embankment, and have bacon rolls and coffee from an all night stand, and watch the sunrise over the Thames and Tower bridge, then head home at about 6ish
One tank of fuel to get down there, and the other to get back!
Just Awesome

Thom

Tenby. Thats a good random drive.  By the sea, great fish and chips and a nightclub you can wear shorts and t-shirt in, and a very seculed car park. Ahem!

I used to do that at college, nearly always ended up getting lost in central London at 2am.

This.
