anti roll bar question

so im fitting coilovers, wheel bearing and doing some cv joint work, so the front end will be pretty bare. is it possible to get an anti roll bar on without dropping the subframe?  

also, im presuming that when the arb is on its going to need some kind of setting up if that makes sence?

You have a 16v or 8v?

I believe you still need to drop the subframe.

Got to drop the subframe, bit of a crap job, easier if you drop it completely but then you have the faff with the steering spline

Hi mate.

Undo the clamps and bolts, slowly drop it down on a jack with a block of wood.

You would only have to drop the subframe enough to get the bar through, then you can slide the bush into the location after, from the side.   I was really unsure of how much I could slacken subframe bolts without them dropping out lol

I fitted poly bushes to mine, which did not slide in well, even with shed loads of copper grease..  Rubber bushes maybe easier to fit than poly.

I found a G-clamp was the best thing to get the bushes in the subframe if not removing it completely
