Abandoned gti in Bromley?

Anyone in the Bromley area seen the black p reg gti abandoned at a bus stop on Bromley common? Its been there for about 4-5 days, doesn't look like there's anything wrong with it though. Wondering if anyones had or knows someone who's had their car stolen or something?

Was asking on E38 earlier. I THIIIINK it's a 1.8. Not a GTi it's 4 stud. Is broken down. I stopped earlier was gonna try get the owners number and ask if he wanted help with it or wanted to sell it as there was a 4x4 old bill car stopped behind it earlier!

Bit strange that it's been left there so long if it's only broken down, looks in pretty good nick! Wonder why the owners not done anything about it?

Yeah when I was driving back from work earlier I thought I saw some sort of council / old bill related notice on the windscreen, guess it's gonna be towed away if nothings done about it!

I wonder how long it will be until the gypsies get to it  :tongue: I remember one was abandoned a few years back in Beckenham for around a week. By the end of this week it had no wheels or interior  :grin:

Im not sure as i actually live in orpington havnt driven past for the last couple of days. Wouldnt surprise me if the gippos had got to it by now though, as its been left for more than 24 hours and hasnt been nailed down!  :grin:

Whilst we're on the subject, what happens to cars that get towed away by the council? Do they just crush em?

Keep an eye out for me. I've got a few mates who live in Orpington and am often there.
