what would you say was a fair price to pay for my car.... cos some ppl saying it was overpriced, others saying i got a bargain.....

Security: Cobra thatcham cat 1 alarm and immobiliser
Wheels 15" Brock deep dish (15 x 7 ET unknown) 
Tyres nankang (195/45) 

what would you say its worth? im still waiting for all the history and receipts cos lad moved and lost em  and its immaculate and never been sprayed

its showint 131 on the clocks but the engine went in 8k ago and had 76k on when he bought it ( receipt somewhere but not got it yet grrrr)

wether its a bargin or not is for you to decide!! after all you paid for it!! lol, its hard to say how much things are worth these days as the 'used' car market is all over the place, fortunatly due to the high numbers of 'dubbers' vw's can still hold there head high on values compared with other marques, the only problem is the 'dubbers' id say a higher percentage would rather pay for a totally standard car with history and few owners, than for example your car... (not saying your car is 'bad' in any way!!! looks damn fine to me) but to those after a tastefully 'modded' golf they will pay for it!!

paid £1500 for it off my best mate

checkin auto trader around here and they seem to be going for bout 2k on average with not same spec as mine

tbh i doubt ill ever get rid of it, ill nick the other halfs corsa if need be, but if i did itd go back to standard and sell it that way

I think that's a fair price. mods only add value where the buyer likes them. I paid £1k for mine 3 and half years back and I've spent 1000's more on it since. I don't regret it. it's awesome.
