yep :) only cost £30 dunlop sp sport on vauxhall 4 stud alloys . loads of tread on them still aswell

yeh the 1.8t is a simple conversion really you can buy alot of the stuff now :/ i had to make the drivers side mount . and you can use the gti box and shafts . but i had to convert everythink to hydraulic clutch and move the chassis mount as mine was a 1.3

i'm going to pass on the gti box and shafts, i'd rather not risk the bang in the gearbox :lol:

plus i quite the idea of the comfort for cruising 6th gear gives :D

mk4's only have 5 speed boxes dont they ?. i thought it was just the seat which do 6 speeds on the 1.8t's . best bet would be to buy a o2a gearbox or a o2j with 100mm drive flanges .

using gearbox codes means nothing to me atm i'm afraid lol

its just 100mm flanges on the gearbox is the only shaft you can use in the conversion i made the mistake of using my mk4 gti box with 108 mm box flanges and had to change the box after calling a few places up .

Yes mk4's do come with 6 speed boxes in the AUQ engines i.e anniversary models and post 2003 gti T's
Silver 3 Door 1.8T.... R-Tech map, Forge d.v, pipercross Venom Cai, J valve, silicone tip.....

the only conversion shafts you can buy are 100mm , the others dont fitt
