I would also say check out Jetex or Magnex.

Seems like a lot of money to me  :undecided:

I'd rather buy a sub £100 used system from the classifies or ebay. Can't see the point of spending £400 on something that will only change the note of the engine  :undecided: :undecided:

see the point khare makes totally, i however had tosell my magnex becasue the bore was not large enough to let my S3 engine breath so i went Jetex and im gonna be honest, its superb. i paid 317 for cat back non res, full stainless.

i then bought a stainless sports cat from usa and also a custom stainless downpipe, i bought this set up because it was needed and not just for looks/sound

obviously my requirements are different to what most will wan from a exhaust

That's completely understandable. You need the bigger bore, but the op has an 8v so plenty of systems in the classifieds kicking about.

I bought a brand new scorpion cat back system, with a Jetex decat pipe.. What does that make me then Khare?

To be fair on the RR Khare saw and hear for himself the improvements made. I guess location is against me so it's easier and sometimes cheaper to buy brand new :)

I picked up a 2nd hand Magnex cat-back from a fellow forum member and I love it, nice & quiet around town but a different story when you put your foot down
