I may work better with  the mirrors gloss black and the roof gloss black, that way people (who understand these tings) will be able too tell what you've done. Satin mirrors do make it look like a cheaper car.

I agree,  if Anything on the bodywork is going to be black it should be gloss against the silver.

I think it would look nice with the roof gloss black and the mirrors done I get people comment on mine regular and it looks just as good on a silver car plus if you like it Wayne go for it mate

True that... It's good to get feelers but at the end of the day, do what you want... I know for a fact that whatever you do it won't look sh*t, just might not be to everyone else's taste, I get that amongst other MK1 peeps but it doesn't affect my judgement.

I think smoked chrome may look good on it, dont know against the silver though. I was going to get it done on my  black A3, would of looked quality but quite dear at £80.
