Reverse light switch help cars in pieces :)

Heya,

I have a MK4 1.8t and have had trouble locating the reverse light switch.

I bought something that looks like this off europarts

but am thinking this is the actual switch (below image

are there 2 different switches?!?!?

Would appreciate if anyone could confirm or help with this?
