Dash Lights

Just wondering if any1 knows if there is a fuse for the light on the rev counter and the digital display as i can't see them in the evening and it would be nice to have all the interior lights working?

any suggestions would be much appriciated.

The dashboard lights don't have a fuse, they don't need one as they are only little bulbs and have minimal current draw, If your rev counter and digital display (which is no doubt in the bottom of the rev counter) are dark then it is more than likely going to be the bulb/bulbs blown in that section.

Try banging slightly on the front of the cluster with a knuckle to jar them into life.

Also if there was a fuse it would feed all the dash lights.

what kind of bulb do you use to fix it? and how many bulbs are behind an mkii gti?

Look at the Info section as there is a great thread there about the bulbs and replacing them.. The Bulbs are T5's and you can find lots of dfferent colours on Ebay....

so will these work and i looked it up in the info section. explained how to do it and gave "dead links" to types of bulbs to use but didnt give the product type... is this the right type? haha  :grin:

haha didnt even look at the date.. 2003! holy moley.. thanks for the answer though. even a link so i know im gettin the correct bulb. kutos mate :grin: :cool: :grin:
