so what do you do to these deaf people??
apart from make them glad they are

All sorts of wierd and wonderful things and they love it and come back for more and more, until I get sick of them and have fleeced them of all their worldly goods.

do your methods actually help to improve hearing problems... or are they more a case of try it and see? is there a specific type of hearing you deal with??

Oh yes, my methods help hugely, at least I hope they do. No, I know they do! Their Quality of Life improves dramatically. They can lead more or less normal lives. My expertise is Auditory Rehabilitation and Amplification. I am very interested in Auditory Processing, Implantation Techniques etc, etc. Also involved with Hearing Aid Design, especially Intelligent Microphones and Amplification + Processing Strategies.

At present I am concentrating on my NHS Practice as it is far more rewarding and exciting.
Most of my patients are between the ages of 17 and 55. So the working population. However, in recent months I am seeing more and more young people below the age of 35. They are the most interesting and challanging group and are great fun.
