Well pleased
« on: 11 June 2011, 22:09 »
Went down south to pick up my GTD. Travelled home today and well impressed with the whole package. 260 mile cruise up from Huddersfield, then went out to play around some of my local backroads. 3rd and 4th gear are

Tomorrow it gets the works on the exterior. Wash, decontaminate, machine polish and some wolfs bodywrap.

A big thanks to the guys at Huddersfield VW. Quality service from initial phone call on Wednesday to driving away in it this morning.

Boggo standard. Not many out there used with much on them unless you want to pay a premium. So need to look into the bluetooth retrofit and where I can get it done in central scotland.

Manual, 9 month old and 11k on the clock. Ideal runabout for me and the milage I will be doing. No other options fitted and none that I think I'll miss from previous cars.

Funny that if VW were on the ball it should have been a new candy white GTD on my drove by now.

I was at 12 weeks with no info at all. Not even confirmation of order from VW and dealer could not supply any info.
