« on: 05 April 2005, 13:41 »
Ok so my mk1 has sat for some time waiting for winter to pass. Her battery went dead so I tried to start her yest - it was damp etc and she started but the revs were at 3000 should I just let her run like that for a little while to warm up and sort herself out??

Any suggestions would be great and could you really really dumb down your answers for me aswell plz thanks!!

p.s yes trusty is going to make a come back

Seems a bit high to me Sarah tbh, you could leave her for ten minutes to see what happens but if it's been stood the idle valve maybe stuck open. Brad will probably know where the screw is to adjust that.
