Not true. My Mk2 has black mirrors and my Mk6 GT GTI has red ones. Much as it pains me to say this, my Mk6 is faster.

How about all the greatest Golfs have black mirrors - better?

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I got my wife to drive far too close to a car coming the other way. That seemed to do the trick.

I've just purchased a pair of R wing mirror covers  :evil:

These arrived today, Golf R mirror covers. Clayed, polished, glazed, sealed and dodo waxed (3 coats)




Going to get them fitted tomorrow and will post up the results then
