This happened to mine, It's the blower unit, I beleve you can replace the controller on the side of the blower with a new one, I my case I got another blower out of my old dub.

Sure if theres another way someone can tell you how, Im sure I have seen this posted on the board already tho, try using the search function and see if you can find it.

The same thing happened on mine too!

Its the resistors on the side of the blower motor that need replacing. I think you can buy these seperatly from GSF or somewhere but I couldn't tell you how much. I got a whole new motor unit from a scrappy but it cost me £12. It is located on the passenger side underneath the parcel tray. You just need to unscrew the tray, pull back the black foamy covering and you'l see a large round unit. If I remember rightly it simply twists off and drops down. If you change the unit for a new one take the cap off and slap some grease on the bearing bit. Otherwise they tend to make an anoying squeeky noise!

Hope this helps

the reason the resistor packs blow is because water gets into the blower motor and tightens them up and therefore puts more strain on the resistor. so before you put the new resisitor and motor back into its housing give it a good dousing in WD40. the big hole where the resistor is meant to go is perfect for getting the straw into spray into the motor

otherwise you'll be back at GSF in about 3mths for another resistor pack

 having had a close listen to it today you cab hear the motor trying to spin on the second blower setting so i think i'll WD40 it forst and hope for a miracle cure, thanks anyway....
