Engine cover.....
« on: 06 June 2011, 20:50 »
.....do you leave yours on or off? I personally like to see an engine so my engine cover sits in the outhouse! Just wondered what the general etiquette was here??!!

Off in summer, on in winter, 1.8t's get hot so any cold air in the summer is a bonus

Mines off, anyone with a 007p will have trouble getting the engine cover on / sitting right anyway.  as daz says get the inlet and rocker looking shiny, along with some silicone hosing and the bay will look ten times smarter than it will with an engine cover !

+1 about the 007p was gonna cut the cover but thinkin to spray the rocker black insted as i already had it off to change the gasket but it looked too much work to polish up!!!!
