bt b/band round here is at best 1.5 meg

Wont be for long mate B.T are ploughing billions into it mate and the goverment are funding part of it cant say exactly when they will do your area but should be national by 2015 if you see the taller cabs its starting in your area if you let me know your area ill check for you..

and that is WITH FTTC - its not *that* amazing... its like having a superhighway and then a bottleneck going out to little B roads

You on infinity ?im pretty sure if you have had a managed install i.e a engineer has come to fit a new master socket for the fibre broadband you should be getting speeds far better than that and your upload should be alot faster. :undecided:.i would be on to your service provider about that result.
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

Im not sure if its up and running in newbury tbh if your running those speeds you have problems or your still on your old copper line from your local exchange.I would call them back out as thats not NGA.

You will see a massive difference on infinty those speeds are copper speeds im not pluggin BT but trust me you will get a far better service once your on it.The fibre is at the cab but it dont upgrade you automicatlly your pair in the old cab has to be linked to the new cab which a engineer will do this then cuts your old copper pair from the exchange.

Im with Virgin and pay for 10MB and often get that, it has been known to drop down during peak ours. This scan was taken just now.

There customer service is terrible and have always ended up going to India trying to have a conversation with some that speaks broken English, it was really hard work.

TV service has been fine, got ourselves a V+ box and is brilliant, same as anything Sky offer.
