been with them since 2002. Any complaints I have had (which has probably been about 3) have been dealt with swiftly and satisfactorily.

They do send you quite a bit of crap through the post. This week I had a flyer for the super-duper box at a discounted rate for loyal customers such as myself.....(£149 for the box, £39 installation fee and £3? extra per moth for the privilege.) With offers such as that I would recommend they save their paper...

Thats the reason we went with virgin 18 months ago, didnt want to pay the bt connection charges etc.

Basically, everything works as it should, no problems. Me and the mrs also both have mobile contracts with em.

internet = great, better than any other provider, but still my 10mb goes to less than 1mb at peak times, but still not as bad as others

how can it be great when they throttle your speeds during peak times?
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

There packages are pretty decent even though my own package is staff rates due to me and my partner working for them many moons ago and they have to honour it untill we cancel.Ive got the samsung HD box which is a big improvment on there last HD box and the old pace ones. The internet use to be very good still is to a point but they do put a speed cap on it I belive between 12 and 4pm may well have changed but they told me this when I rang them asking why my service had slowed right down a while back. There installers are all contractors mainly and they have no auditors so there quality of work isnt great you may get lucky and get the odd in house guy whos been with them a while but most of them are ruff installers. They did quote that they offer a 50mb service which is bull I think they may have trials in London only could be wrong but im in Bham and theres no 50mb service here.If on the other hand your a B.T customer or have your internet through a phone line look out for B.T infinity in your area you will see taller green cabinets near the smaller B.T ones these are now fibre feed and link into the older B.T cabs and I know its running at a average of about 40mb which I would say is the fastest in the UK.They are aiming for 80mb plus fibre off the pole is also in use now.Reason I know about all this is im a cabler for B.T and im pulling in and blowing fibres for NGA next generation access should be national by 2015 hopefully
