airbrushed wheels

was messing around with some airbrushing lastnight and decided to try something.
i have a set of longbeach standered mk3 gti alloys.
i am going to refurb and paint white so they are a black canvas.

we will be airbrushing something on them and it can be anything (marvel heros, tattos, anything you can imagen)
the plan is to make some crazey wheels out of them then stick them on ebay and see hoe much they go for.
isnt costing us anything apart from the time spent doing them.

but i want ideas on what you guys think would sell best in the dub world.
or maybe if anybody wants to buy them we can do what ever custom design they want to order.

any ideas people.

I think you would get more money for them if they was powder coated black or dark grey.

With something like marvel and things like that, the car has to go with it. They wouldn't look right on any car. And lets face it the cars they would suit will already have some pretty tasty rims.

But hey could be wrong just what I think.

lol that would look cool but nobody will want wheels like that.

just thought it would be cool for somebody with a say diferant ride to have something cool.
maybe even do them gun metal grey with ghost flames or something ghosted going up each spoke from the middle out but you have to have a close look to see it type deal maybe.
with lots of clear coat for a deep shine.

already have the wheels and would be a laugh to see what we can do. and maybe make a little cash from it in the process.

You could offer the service to people on request instead of drawing something random and running the risk of people not wanting it.

+1 on giving the buyer the chance to have there own design made onto the wheel.
maybe do a design for illustration purposes,give peeps an idea into what they could have.
What about petrol flaps? or rocker covers?

funny you should say that is i have been toying with that idea for a wile now as i buy old alloys cheap on ebay refub them and sell them back on there have been toying with the idea of offering the winning bidders the choice of choosing what colour they want.

bought a loud of black t-shirts to and my mate has been doing some them heat pressing them and the t-shirts look awsum and are starting to sell well as custom hand painted items.
