seat vw question

do seat ibiza's 2003-2005 reg have the same obd port as a golf mk4 for vag com?? also audi a3's 97-03  :smiley:

Yes they do as I plugged into my father-in-law's 04 Seat just the other night  :nerd:

Yes they do as I plugged into my father-in-law's 04 Seat just the other night  :nerd:

sweeeeeet.. im looking at seat ibiza 130 tdi sport  :lipsrsealed: :lipsrsealed:.. also seen golf gt tdi 115.. wondering what go for jus snooping  :grin:

 bit fed up my golf at mo so may not get another one.. but stay vag  :grin:

the port is located by the pull down cubby hole under the steering wheel.  You need to remove the cubby hole to get at it  :wink:

its just cliped on tho i take it.. dont think a seller would let me start unscrewing parts  :laugh:...hope i dont end up driving all the way and sellers say nope you cant scan it  :angry: :sad:

Just realised its a sport you're looking at; same car as the father-in-laws  :cool:  Cheeky remap will see an easy 170bhp....watch that clutch mind  :laugh: :laugh:

Lolll I already looked into it.. And as it being small motor thought it would shock a few vag rivals loll take it there engine is a mk4 tdi engine not had chance see one under bonnet see if its a mk4 in a smaller lighter shell ;-)looking get one next month.. Seen quite few decent examples

Same engine as found in the Mk4 130 like mine and the Skoda Fabia vRS  :cool:
