Yes they do as I plugged into my father-in-law's 04 Seat just the other night

 bit fed up my golf at mo so may not get another one.. but stay vag

the port is located by the pull down cubby hole under the steering wheel.  You need to remove the cubby hole to get at it

its just cliped on tho i take it.. dont think a seller would let me start unscrewing parts  ...hope i dont end up driving all the way and sellers say nope you cant scan it

Yeah its clipped in; no need to dismantle the entire car

Just realised its a sport you're looking at; same car as the father-in-laws    Cheeky remap will see an easy 170bhp....watch that clutch mind

Lolll I already looked into it.. And as it being small motor thought it would shock a few vag rivals loll take it there engine is a mk4 tdi engine not had chance see one under bonnet see if its a mk4 in a smaller lighter shell ;-)looking get one next month.. Seen quite few decent examples
