have you thought about pug 106 gti? saxo vts? or similar nippy, good handing hatches?

106 gti i would consider, not interested in saxo due to the chav reputation.

ideally id like to steer away from french cars in general though  :smiley:

I think thats a bit of an exception, no idea how he has got it that low. I couldn't insure a 1.8T at 20 for more than 2k.

Insurance is well cheap over in England Jimp.. i paid £3700 last year on my 1.8T.. Renewed with a Leon diesel for £2200.. and the mini cooper S is 5 insurance groups higher but is £200 cheaper lol ??  Christ knows how other 20 year olds get it for so cheap..  :angry: :cry:

Insurance can be cheap if you play them against each other and haggle. I had a mk2 vts at 19 for £700 fully comp and then an itg 98 spec type R for £700 at the age of 22  :cool:

I'm 23 and could get insured on an E36 328i sport for £572.85, which is about what I pay on the mk3!

I could get insured on an S3 or a twin turbo supra for around £100 less than my mk3 :shocked:
