No Bend Lighting (AFS) function - anyone else?
« on: 01 June 2011, 16:35 »
Hi all, it's been 4 days since this AFS error popped up my MFD  :undecided:  The dealer checked it and ordered a spare part from Germany to fix it, he even said because they order parts with each car's chassis number they can't have any in stock.  The issue is not so much the bending light (bi-xenon doesn't work in bends) but that xenons sometimes stay fixed to the lower position possible after ignition hence driving at night is a no-go.  I was wondering whether others have had the same issue and whether it solved easily.

GTI MKVI, 5dr DSG, Candy White, Bi-Xenon, ACC, 18" Monza shadow, RCD510 w/Dynaudio, Sunroof, w/2 baby seats... and she's a beauty.
