My new vr6 project

Hi, let me know what you all think of this, picked it up for a bargain £440, spent £50 on service bits today and £40 on a bootlit. Getting the rust and dent sorted out end of the week. Any ideas of what i can do to it. Thanks

I wouldn't get the dent out! cheaper to buy a new wing  :wink: looks good though  :grin: how many miles it done?

Looks awesome, the bootlid is a slightly different shade which is a shame, my gti is the same colour as this, the best colour!
I agree with the above, the wings are easy to change, just get another to replace it, you'll never straighten that dent out 100% I wouldnt think. Get a wing and matt black it until a storm grey one shows up on ebay or breaking

yea i replaced the bootlid today for one of a similar colour as the one i had was rusty as f**k. getting a new wing to spray too, thats what i meant, its storm grey i think.

does anyone know if the front and rear vw badges pop out. i want to paint them but i dont want to break them.

Front one yes, back one is stuck on so will need new trim tape afterwards

For the money that looks like a nice project, is that a scorpion backbox?, got one on my 8v and i can't get it to sit back as far as that.
