Filiform corrosion is a type of localized corrosion that is often associated with aluminum and magnesium alloys that have an organic coating.

Doesn't look like white worm to me which tends to be more random, looks like some sort of rubbing mark..

The vancouvers on my upcoming GTD won't have the same wow, but hopefully they'll still look decent after a couple of years!

Unfortunately the Vancouvers are just as prone to whiteworm as the Monzas. Diamond cut and lacquer finish.
Just make sure you keep your eyes peeled.
