I play bass, have a modified squire affinity p-bass with seymour duncan spb2's and an Ashdown mag c210t-300 evo II combo.
Saving up for vintage one-piece fender p-bass in sunburst, could be a long time

Can't recommend fender basses enough.

I've tried a few different basses yamaha/ibanez etc but never found one that feels as comfortable or balanced as my squier p-bass, just love playing it and it's one of the better quality lower end basses, just needs upgraded wiring and pickups to sound great and the natural progression is to a genuine fender.

My bassist just got a Fender MIM P bass off ebay.
He says he's in love with it!

One of my better guitars was an Olympic White squier standard strat. It was brilliant.

I was watching the david gilmour albert hall gig on sky a few weeks ago and the floyd bassist guy pratt was playing a gorgeous sunburst p-bass with tortoiseshell pickguard and maple neck, i'd give a lot to own that bass.

There's mine... 1986 Jap Fender P.

Coupled with a cranked AVT/blue diamond and a tube screamer... Nothing better.

Original tube screamers are worth a fortune.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

Recorded an album aaaages ago on a 5150 with a 4x12 with a kick grille and it sounded amazing.

I've got a couple of tube screamers, usually I use both at the same time for more gain on the bass.

I'm gonna make a 2x12 kick grille cab to run under my lc30 for a bit more punch.

As for pedals, ts808 tube screamer, ts9 tube screamer, dd7 delay pedal, fender spring reverb pedal, ernie ball volume pedal and some old vibrato pedal I found in Denmark street for £15.
