, Ibanez RG550 ()

What's up with it?

I bought it along with a Jem7V when I was going through a glam rock phase.

It's the most ridiculous colour with a stupid mirrored rainbow pickguard.

I've had countless guitars but the only one I've always kept is the tele.

The plan with the AMF is to get a bare knuckle P90 in the bridge and a Fernandes sustainer and Seymour Duncan stacked single coil in the neck.

I'm a guitarist too, don't play often enough though:

Just been to pick this up this evening:

All valve goodness.

Guitar needs a setup though. Badly.

Hopefully the AMF will be okay to play this weekend.

Yet another guitarist here. I own a few cheap acoustics which will be restored and modified one day. Also a Strat, Epiphone Les Paul Custom Flame Top and a Vintage Electro Acoustic. Plus a Line 6 of course  I'm not in a band atm, but have been wondering the streets of Brighton and Canterbury with people playing improv music. The look of amusement on peoples' faces makes my day lol.

I wanted to fit a bigsby to a thinline. SUSTAIN.

I can reccommend telecasters to anyone. I'd go for a 72 Deluxe if I were in the Market for a tele again.

I'm gonna drop mine off to get it set up tomorrow. Probably want some lighter strings too, seeing as I'm not playing in C any more.

I love bigsbys, got a trem arm on the strat, but it's just not the same.
Want me some savage vibrato!

Ernie Ball regulars FTW.

Had the lo-pro egde (Ibanez floyd rose) on the RG and the Jem.

Used to do all kinds of crazy Matthias IA Eklundh harmonics...

I love bigsbys though.

Thing I don't like about floyd roses and others that are similar is that theres too much movement, whereas with a bigsby you get about 1/2 inch either way to give the perfect tremolo sound :afro:  :nerd:
