The horrible cheap bit of original plastic never bothered me before, until I saw that. And now it does. Me want, me want.......mind you, me want a lot of things......

OK maybe not as sweet, but good enough for me and cost all of £30 :wink:

.. and 2/3 days hard labour :grin: :laugh:

BTW to the individual that said ' I don't see the point of carbon wrapping '. It's cost mate, obviously.

That and the sense of achievement, doing it YOURSELF!

racingfreak - very nice results - does look good and better in the flesh I'm sure.

CHB - I think yours is top banana too  :cool: and more satisfying with it being DIY

Very nice, think it really sets off the backend especially in white. I think would look very nice on red or black aswell :)

I think the difference here is that although your CF wrap work is pretty amazing, most of us wouldn't have the necessary time and/or skills to wrap the valance ourselves.
The CF one is a nice easy bolt on that will probably still fetch very good money when sold on again in the future due to its rarity.

They both make a really classy addition to the back end, getting rid of the cheap looking plastic thing look.
