Tilt glass inwards towards the door, reach behind and pull towards you.

If you look at the replacement glass first this will give you an idea of the exact location of the clips

Thanks again Mate, will get one ordered now, mine has had a stick on replacement put on in past - looks ok but no blind spot area on it so for £12 will replace it

This way might break the mirror  :lipsrsealed: (as i found out in the scrappy so didnt mind as it wasnt mine!)

I unscrewed the black cover underneath the mirrror (two screws) levered it off so it was hanging off (do not pull off as you will snap it) and you can then access the two bottom sets of clips with your fingers. Use one hand to pull on the mirror and the other to unclip the small clips. By keeping force on it youll feel when the clips have released. Hope this helps and prevents damage to your mirror like the one in the scrap yard i practiced on RIP

Lucky

I pulled one out exactly the same and the bit the backing plate clips to came away with it and snapped two funny looking white bits.
So i slowly put it back on as if nothing ever happed
