Can't you use VCDS to do a BHP check?
If someone had stolen 20bhp off me I'd want to know before September!

Maybe you can I shall have to have a look.

I believe there is a Torque setting in there again I shall have to have a look for that?

'09 Engine torque values (and VCDS logging)

If someone had stolen 20bhp off me I'd want to know before September!
I could have been but I'm sure it was this year or it could have been someone else that said it, I've searched for all kinds of 20bhp, 20 bhp, 20hp, 20 hp? I thought it was of The Doc but I've searched all his posts this year but I can't see it?

Check what Doc?

I can't say that I've noticed any power difference I'm just curious that some TDI owners complain they've had it serviced and the software update by the dealer now the engine doesn't seem as perky.

Well we used to have a SUN RAMXII chassis dyno with all the extra options and special software to plot then results at the college where I work but we were told to move into new workshops. There was no room in the new workshop, guess what we gave a £10,000 machine away, tossers?

By all accounts JKM are very good at what they do, they also have a "heartbreaker" dyno

Check that it's still making 170 PS on the DYNO - FOC of course and all in the name of science
