Budget coilies....

....anyone got any? I really want to save up and get a decent set for the mk4 but as usual, Im an impatient sod and just want to buy some.

Its worth bearing in mind that I'll only be dropping it the minimum amount (30mm) (at first) and just need a decent ride quality.

 Whats the verdict on these?

ive been looking at them but i think some people will say if you know exactly what ride height you want then lowering springs will be better for comfort or coilies if you are not sure what height.

i went for fk street coilovers about same price i've gone quite low and got a new arb and droplinks,but for 30mm you should be fine for just the coilovers and new strut top mounts and bearings and then get the tracking alignment checked

FK's arent as good as people make out...... Had a dampner p!ss oil out within 6 months. Unforgiving ride and poor handling. Save your pennies for some proper weitec/tein etc or if your only going 30mm get Bilstein shovks with Eibach progressive springs  :smiley:

ive had jamex 1s on for bit now no problems not a harsh ride either will be upgrading 1 day tho as i can imagine they wont last for ever, also my mate has the jom 1s and they seem to be good as well for the price
