will my headunit work again as its been out for a few months and i have no idea what the code is

Yes, as long as it came with the car

1. Fit the stereo
2. turn your key two clicks so all the gauges come on. e.g fuel gauge moves
3. Turn on the stereo, it will say Learn on the front.  This means it's getting the code from the car
4. wait 20sec, then it should be working
