Personally I prefer the original monza II and the monza II shadows (black inserts) even more, I would swap the detriots for them :afro:

Keep them , mine are running Detroit/huffs, but with now Gloss rather then the origonal satin.Pescara's that my Ed30 came with are not as nice imo.

Without trying to sound like a parrot I also like them and would keep them.

Having said that, its your car. Do what you prefer.

Have to say they do look good on a white GTI and probably on a red one but prefer the diamond cut ones on a black GTI :afro:

Here she is, needs a good wash and better pics on the weekend.

Still think I will get rid of the wheels though, already had a offer to sell them, but need to find replacements.

They are different, but I prefer the original monza shaddow chrome.


Yes, 18" Monza's are an optional extra let your Insurance know mate  :nerd:

They look quality - much more distinguished than the Monza II. I might be slightly biased though :wink:



I think the advice on not changing the tyres is a tad over-cautious though. There is a fair few of us with these wheels and I'm pretty sure we're not running around on bare rubber!
