Vacum pipes
« on: 10 September 2003, 15:34 »
hi, i have 1994 golf gti 2.0 8v (2e) and it has a problem thats been bugging me for some time. The vacum pipes that connect from the air box, in front of the air flow meter, back to the inlet plenum became perished and broken and in turn has hampered the performance of the car so of course i have replaced them apart from 1 of them because i dont know where the hell it goes. The rest is pretty straight forward, the other pipe connects to a nipple on the plenum just behind the throttle body and also tees off to a small diaphram at the end of the fuel rail. Does anyone know what i'm talking about? if you do, please help because i aint no mechanic and i really kneed to know where the other pipe goes!
