oil pressure sender
« on: 27 May 2011, 16:23 »
I know the golf mk3's have two oil pressure senders, one for high revs and one for low revs (under 2000rpm right?)

Where are they? I have changed the one on top of the engine near the rocker cover/slightly under the air filter. Which one is that? Since changing it my oil light doesn't come on at anything higher than 2000rpm so I'm guessing its that one so does anyone know where the other lower rpm sender is?

I just fitted a new oil pump trying to solve this problem and although my engine sounds great again I still have the light under 2,000rpm but weridly only when the car is up to temperature :o

Suggestions? :) cheers guys
