sitting waiting for the missus had the golf running just idling and after a few minutes it just rev'd by itself went upto 2000rpm and sat there for about 30 seconds then went back to regular idle about 800/900rpm anyone know how or why it did this?
(mk2 8v digi) runs fine no probs cept a blowy exhaust and dodgy battery which i changed today the old one would hold charge but died under load just couldnt handle even starting the car.
