i got a canceled appointment and thought oh that never happens what good luck. so parked next to disabled space and put the car as far over so they could get access into their car as i went in i saw who owned job up to the car smoking a fag and jumped in with no sticker on the car which i told him what i thought of him parking in that spot which he just shrugged and drove off(cu*t) anyway once out of docs i found a branch the length of the car had fallen and smashed scuttle panel and dented roof so

how much to fix roughly? and karma is a lot of(sh*t)

i can get one for around a tenner so not bad but]

i did post this in the mk4 section but maybe some one in cosmetics can help so i apologize for double posting

don't think it can be pulled out as to close to edge or am i wrong?

You will struggle to get it pulled out, best bet is to try a couple of local bodyshops to have look.

perhaps it was the bloke who objected to your objection taking a branch to your car?

A successful repair to that roof panel would almost certainly need the glass removing, and the roof fully painting, expect quotes to be around £500/600 plus VAT, don't forget that if you pay yourself, you also run the risk of having to pay out for a new screen should it break on removal, or re fitting!!
If you are fully comp insured, with protected NCB, and a reasonable excess to pay (ie, less than the above figure) then I would recommend claiming on your Insurance as your best, and cheapest option

just ran to a local coach works  and the guy was very helpful does a lot of the vw's in my area and a few show cars. anyway long story short he will pull out and fix dent in roof, area with a few scratch's on top of boot(previous owner) and the dent in the drivers door on the crease below the window(previous owner) all in for 450 and that is all water based(reg change i understand) but put in his car oven to harden.

not bad for 2 secs work on internet lol and a bit of luck ha ha ha ha luck has funny ways of working for me.
