When I had my MK5 GTI I had to get three of the alloys replaced under warranty, these were made by BBS.

My current wheels on the MK6 are made by Ronal and so far so good

Mine are also by Ronal and are so far problem free. 
Tornado Red GTIs don't get white worm.

Having previously been refused replacement of my 18inch monza's at one dealership (as one wheel had been repaired by a dealer prior to purchase), I took the advice from some previous posts and asked another dealer. I have just had 2 new monza's replaced under warranty and they repaired part of the boot trim that had been damaged without me even asking them to. Result! Thanks for the advice from this forum.
