Need some help regarding coilovers
« on: 25 May 2011, 19:05 »
Ive done a search here and over on ukmk-ivs and have narrowed it down to either:

JOM
FK Street
Hottuning ones (seen they could do discount on here not sure if its still runnin)

As they are all roughly the same price im not expecting them to be world class or to last forever
But they are all in my price range and i only drive max 7k miles a year so seem perfect.

Which ones have you got and how do you rate them, Thanks

loads of people running fk, jom, jamex etc from what ive read on here altho there the cheapest sets there not that bad..

i have jamex 1s which came with adjustable droplinks for £200 of ebay and i couldnt of been happier with them there not a hard ride you do feel the odd bump which is expected with coilovers but still pretty good

depending on liage of your car it maybe a good idea to get new top mounts all round as i was advised and since it takes 15mins more to do it worth it. i was charged 80 quid all to have my fk's fitted including fitting top mounts
