Help MK4 Sounds like a tractor and no boost

my mate has just bought a mk4 turbo and today its sounds like a tractor and no boost, he pulled away and then it died oil light is flashing and he has put 1 ltr of oil in

any ideas where to cheers or if any 1 in bakewell / buxton have a look :)

i just scanned it and fault codes

16500- coolent temp sender

00575- manifold pressure sensor

17978- nothing came up on ross tech but a search came back with- blocked immobiliser

any ideas any1

i also drove it theres no power, boost etc its more like a 1.1 fiesta than a 1.8t  :sad:

Boost leak. Maybe coil. My mates a3 use to do this but am sure his was a boost pipe popping off

would that not come up in fault codes,
why would it run like a tractor

Coilpack is what my coil stood for. Thinkin bout it the 1.8t suffer from this when u start doing stuff to them don't they

Very common failure, check and see if the recall covers it.

ok the answer is oil pump and turbo gone  :cry:
