Water Temperature
« on: 09 September 2003, 22:08 »
just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. On my way home tonight I noticed the water temp light would flicker off and on for a few seconds then stop again. The temp gauge was reading just below half a gauge (seems to be where it always reads when warmed up) no signs as to it over heating and the coolant level is fine. Dodgy sensor for the light perhaps?

Got it sorted. feel stupid, wire came lose under the rubber cover on the sensor and was just touching the tab. when the car moved just right it would move away and break contact. thanks anyway
