ok i replaced the petrol filter in my car, tried to do it last week but didnt realise there was a little button to press
, so got it done this week, now the previous filter was held on with a wrap tie, (not sure if there is suposed to be a part on the plastic thing above it which is suposed to go around it or not but that filter was wrap tied to the peice of plastic) so last week when i had a go i cut off the wrap tie so i have being driving around for a week with my filter suported by the litle metal clip that runs under i holding up some other line ( not sure what line it is ).
me being me i forgot to put a wrap tie on the filter when i changed it. how important is it to be tied back up? i will eventually put a wrap tie on it but havent got time, just wondering if i need to rush home from work tomorow and take off the petrol filter to put a wrap tie on to put the filterback on and secure it or if itl be ok till next weekend or the weekend after?
