Mk3 GTi Timing question
«

Hi, on my 1996 GTi 8v when the timing marks on both the crank and the cam are at TDC should the timing mark on the top of the distributor body be smack in the middle of the outside edge of the rotor arm? Thanks in advance.

The rotor arm should point at the mark on the distributor body, which is just after no.1 ignition lead.
