THE PIRELLI HAS LANDED!!

Hi everyone I am new to the site. I have a 2008 PIRELLI GTI. B4 i purchased it I read a few peoples comments on them. Got the marmite response "some people love the interior and wheels and others hate it" well I can truly say I love it. The photos of the interior don't do it any justice when you see it in the flesh you appreciate what its about, then you sit on them and the comfort alone makes your mind up if your still not convinced then let the heat button do the talking!!! As for the wheels I rate them over the edition 30's.

Would be great full if anyone has knowledge of the exact amount of PIRELLI GTI's that were made for the UK. I have a figure of 222 is this correct??? And am I able to apply for a plaque like the edition 30 owners?

I like the wheels, prefer the tartan pattern seats but the tyre tread does look cool.

Hi matey, you are correct there were only 222 official UK supplied Pirellis brought into the country by VW......and I have one too! :cool:
I agree on the whole marmite thing.....I used to be on the fence regarding the interior but now I absolutely love it! There wasn't a plaque done for the Pirelli.....probably because they didn't make enough to warrant one!
